Wednesday Night Update

We had a good crowd tonight, including several community visitors. Worshipers tonight included ... a lady who reported hearing gunshots outside of her FEMA trailer last night ... a man who is a self-proclaimed agnostic who enjoyed the message about Barabbas ... a man who had his baptism certificate from 1965 and his desire to be a part of our church ... a lady who told me that God was doing awesome things through our church ... a teenage girl who brought her boyfriend for the first time ... a lady who's minivan is falling apart on her that I bought some brake pads for ... a man who told me yesterday that he was coming tonight ... the grown grandson of a man we have helped, who's last name is Dodd (same as my friend Danny!) ... a 70 year old man who's cell phone went off during the closing comments ... a 34 year old man who led a prayer for the first time in front of our church family ... a man who is counting the cost before he will be immersed ... several other great people of faith, some faithless, some questioning, some weary, some of all kinds.
